Powering and Protecting the AI Revolution: A New Era for Splunk and Cisco at .conf25

We just wrapped .conf25 last week, a defining moment for us and the industry as we unlocked the potential for AI with machine data and advanced digital resilience into the Agentic era.

As I’ve mentioned in a previous blog, data is the fuel for AI. While the world has done a great job in training AI models on human generated data like text, image and video, there still remains a lot of work to be done as an industry to train the models on time series machine data. .conf25 marked a pivotal moment for Splunk and Cisco as we continue to deliver significant new value to our customers and help them overcome these impediments to make the use of AI a practical reality in their organizations. This is Splunk returning to groundbreaking industry leading innovation.

In presentations by Jeetu Patel, Tom Gillis, Mangesh Pimpalkhare, Patrick Lin and Mike Horn, we showcased a number of new capabilities to showcase how machine data can help us decode and recode the agentic world, unlocking insights at machine speed and scale that help organizations stay safe and thrive. Some to highlight are:

Broad adoption of AI in the enterprise requires a practical approach, with security and observability for AI itself. At .conf25 we showcased this practical approach to make AI trusted and scalable. Delivering digital resilience and trust:
